Heathfield & Waldron Parish Council Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council has been associated with the maintenance of Darch’s Wood almost from the time the Mrs Darch bequeathed the woodland to the Amenities Society. The Parish Council was a great assistance to the Society following the 1987 'Hurricane', where-upon they became our Custodian Trustee. We continue to work with the Parish Council and it makes regular contributions to the basic maintenance and ad-hoc projects in the wood from its General Maintenance budget and a specific Darch’s Wood budget.
Agrifactors (Southern) Ltd. Agrifactors (Southern) Ltd. are the authorised contractor for general maintenance issues for HWPC and has acted as the contractor for maintaining Darch’s Wood since the late 1980’s. Agrifactors is a family run seed and landscaping business, run alongside its commercial beef and sheep farm, based at Streetfield Farm, Heathfield.
